Welcome to The Hearth and Soul Blog Hop. The weather is finally much more like summer here in England, and the garden is really beginning to take off. Having said that, my vegetable beds have definitely felt the strain of one of the latest and driest Springs we have had for many years. While my peas and beans are doing great, my zucchini are not nearly as abundant as they were last year. The ones I am able to harvest don’t grow beyond a few inches long no matter how long I leave them. But that is the beauty of nature, every year is different, and brings its own surprises. This year it’s baby zucchini!
Thank you so much to everyone who linked up last week. I really enjoyed visiting so many wonderful posts. A few that caught my eye were these fresh and seasonal Cherry Almond Muffins from Loving My Domestic Life,

the gorgeous Yucca Flower, Mushroom and Feta Frittata from Girlichef,

and this unique and refreshing Grapefruit Meringue Pie from Canela Kitchen.
