Welcome to the 26th edition of the fun, foodie blog hop - Feed Me Tweet Me Follow Me Home. A huge thank you to all the regular participants who support the hop - remember you are very welcome to pick up the code at the bottom and run the hop on your own site too, if you would like.
The idea of Feed Me Tweet Me is to help you to reach out into the blogosphere and make new friends, but also to help new people discover YOUR blog or Facebook page and to help promote YOU. My co-host, Alex of A Moderate Life, and I would LOVE to see even more folks linking up each week, so if you have any ideas as to how we can improve the hop to make it more ‘user friendly’ please do get in touch! And please do spread the word about the hop, as we would really like to see it grow.
This week’s featured foodie, chosen from the entrants to the hop last week, is Ellen from A Mom on a Mission.
Ellen has been married to Nick for a year and a half, and they are expecting their first child in October. A teacher of Russian language classes at a nearby university during the week, Ellen’s true passions are for home, family, natural living, and good health. Committed to providing the healthiest possible diet for her growing child, she shares her recipes at her blog, A Mom on a Mission, where she also blogs about her pregnancy, fitness routines, and readings in the world of nutritional science. Ellen’s agricultural background is very evident in all of her recipes, which include fresh pastured eggs from the chickens at the family farm, hormone- and antibiotic-free meat from the farm, and lots of veggies from the garden. Ellen has lots of exciting plans for her blog in the future, including more great recipes, ideas for canning and preserving a home-grown vegetable harvest, thoughts on natural childbirth (she is planning a midwife-attended home birth), and ideas about gentle and natural parenting. Ellen has been supporting Feed Me Tweet Me Follow Me Home for quite some time now, and I’m looking forward to watching her blog evolve as she moves forward into this exciting time in her life!
