The Weekend Roundup

...here at Fourth Edition of the Weekend Roundup! This is a linky for you to share your favourite post of the week, or any post that you are proud of.  It can be anything from a recipe, a restaurant or book review, a craft or decorating project, travel piece or a personal opinion post or even another blog hop. This is also chance to showcase work you are proud of, or posts you may have slipped under the radar and not got the attention they deserve.
Thank you  so much to everyone who joined in last week. I enjoyed each and every one of the posts. Here are three that especially stood out for me.
Karen of Trilogy Edibles profiled five wonderful bloggers in her National Sugar Cookie Day post, with interviews and features of their amazing cookies. I found five lovely new blogs, and am in awe of the gorgeous cookies they - and Karen - produce on a regular basis! I only wish I were so talented!

Lisa of Happy in Dole Valley shared wonderful Whole Wheat Almond Toffee Bars, a healthier version of the classic treat Almond Roca.

And Melynda of Mom’s Sunday Cafe shared a Catered Wedding Reception post that left me in awe of her cooking and organisational skills. Not to mention the gorgeous food she produced!

I’m excited to see what posts you will share this week. Anything goes, as long as it is family friendly! I’d also love it if you would link back here in order to spread the word about The Weekend Roundup and so that more folks can join in.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  2. April - Thank you for featuring my toffee bars! :) I don't know if you've tried them yet, but they truly are delicious. I'm making a batch to have on hand for tomorrow when we'll have guests after church. For today's linky party I've shared a homestead/garden update that provides a look at our hens among other things.

Hope your travels are going well! Blessings, ~Lisa
