Hearth & Soul Hop

Welcome to another Hearth and Soul Hop, the blog carnival for and about food that nourishes both body and soul. I am excited to announce that Penny of Penniless Parenting will be joining us as a hostess. Penny has been a regular contributor for some time, so many of you may already know her, but for those of you who don’t, here is a little introduction to Penny and her blog:
Penny, from PennilessParenting.com blogs about how to live an enjoyable life on a very tight budget. Penny tries her best to live and blog about eating a real foods diet, green living, homeschooling, DIY, making things from scratch (including many things you never would have thought you could make at home), and frugal living tips, from basic all the way to extreme frugal strategies. She shares many recipes, with her specialty being low cost gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan healthy meals. Even if you have no food restrictions, don’t worry; these recipes will likely work for you as well, as they are delicious and very frugal, without using any specialty ingredients.
Welcome Penny, we are happy to have you on board!
My highlights from my visits to Hearth and Soul contributors last week include:

Quinoa and Vegetable Bake

Crystallized Beet Multigrain Thins
Black Bean Portabella Mushroom Burgers

Creamy Coleslaw
